Savez ekoloÅ¡kih organizacija Srbije (SEOS) bugün saat 18:00'de "Crvena linija – Jadar – Homolje – Rakita – Bobija...“ adlı protestoyu platou'da düzenliyor.

Ugroženilen bölgelerin temsilcileri, uzmanlar ve ekolojik aktivistlerin konuşması planlanıyor.

SEOS'un blogunda tüm protesto olayları takip edilebilecek.

Majdanpek'teki "Ne dam Nu dau" organizasyonunun üyesi Irena Barbulović, Bor, Majdanpek ve çevresinin madenler ve altınla bilindiğini belirterek konuştu.

"Nüfusu değişti, ormanlarımızı, dağlarımızı ve nehirlerimizi yok ettiler. Geleneklerimiz ve kültürümüz yeni, yabancı bir şeyle baskılanıyor ve agresif kapitalin gölgesinde kalıyoruz. Hükümet bizi her zaman küçük bir sorun olarak kullandı", dedi Barbulović.

"Ne damo Bobiju" Derneği'nin orman mühendisi Aleksandar Manojlović, hükümetin yabancı şirketlere Sırbistan'ın doğal kaynaklarını satmaya karar verdiğini söyledi.

"Buradan birlikte bir mesaj veriyoruz: hayır diyemezsiniz. En kaliteli doğa parçalarını, Podrinjski bölgesinin yüzyıllardır koruduğu alanları, şimdi altın araştırmaları için yabancı şirketlere verdiler ve potansiyel kar elde etmeyi hedeflediler. Ama bilmedikleri şey: Bobija kalplerimizde altın gibi parlıyor", dedi Manojlović.

Şu anda büyük bir kalabalık toplandı. İnsanlar sokağa döküldü.

Terazije'deki trafik protesto nedeniyle kapanacak.

Protestoda ayrıca çiftçi ve aktivist Zlatko Kokanović, jeoloji mühendisi Zoran Đajić bulunuyor. Her ikisi de "Öğrenci Listesi - Öğrenciler Zafer Alıyor" listesinden milletvekili adayı.

Ayrıca, Novi Sad'da bir örtü düşmesi sonucu hayatını kaybeden Stefan Hrka'nın annesi Dijana Hrka da protestoda yer alıyor.

Protestada ayrıca oyuncu ve öğrenci listesindeki aday Tihomir Stanić ve "Budi Heroj" derneği lideri MiÅ¡a Bačulov bulunuyorThe Ministry of Mining and Energy, regarding the protest, stated that it hopes that the demand for a halt to all geological and exploration activities is merely an uncompromising idea expressed without considering legal, economic and social consequences, not a serious political program.

"Such an idea certainly cannot be the basis of politics by responsible people who take into account workers, their families, economic development and the future of Serbia," said the Ministry in its statement, adding:

"Blockades and pre-announced halt to development are not the policy pursued by the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The state's policy is that each specific project is decided on the basis of laws, expert analyses, prescribed procedures and an assessment of the impact on the environment, and not that all exploration and development activities are stopped in advance."

The protest will be addressed by SEOS President Ljiljana Bralović, followed by Milena Orubović, representative of the "Ne damo Rogoznu" association Saladin Begović, representative of the "Zaječar protiv rudnika" association Bratislav Smičković, member of the "Ne damo Bobiju" association Aleksandar Manojlović and Professor Imre Krizmanić from the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade.

SEOS President Ljiljana Bralović told FoNet on Friday that they will insist on stopping all contracts for exploration at over 200 locations until their content and consequences are re-examined.

"Everything should be stopped until the situation in the country stabilizes, until this government changes and until every aspect of each exploration area is examined to see what they have signed, what they have given, and what, if anything, can benefit the people of Serbia," said Ljiljana Bralović.

The protest is organized by SEOS and the associations "Rendžeri istočne Srbije", "Ne damo Rogoznu", "Zaječar protiv rudnika" (I don't want to move) and "Ne damo Bobiju".

"Jadar - Homolje - Rakita - Bobija... Only four of many reasons for protest and self-defense," reads the post on Instagram.
